Today we will talk about the children.The orphanage sits mostly empty.  All the US, Canadian, and Netherlands children have gone to live with their adoptive families until the process is finished. They have some flower beds next to the Depot where there is a big stump and lots of rocks so the family and Timothy (a volunteer) went up to the property and worked for the day. There were 3 other volunteers on the same flight with us.  We got to the main house right about dinner time.  It was so nice to see everyone again. It was so much fun. First, Friday night...the Pie Auction. God is active and alive in our church family. He moved and used so many people to bring about His will and provision for our family. The grand total is not in yet but they raised near $6,000. Most of this is from the auction, some is money people have given through the offering. We apologize.  The church service was wonderful.  God really used Todd to speak to the congregation.  We are still having people tell us how touching it was to their lives. Here is a picture of one of the little guys. Many of the babies are sick with a stomach flu. Not a pretty sight. :&gt;) We pray that we will be able to keep from getting it but don't really see that as a reality. The level of sanitation and cleanliness is not what we are use to at home. Our flight into Miami was even early. :&gt;) As a country there is evidence of progress.  It was so encouraging to see.  Shops are open, buildings painted, roads being repaired, even the stop light was working.
