Wow!!! It has been a busy, fun, exciting, long, exhausting week. Let us catch you up...

Internet has been down at the guest house most of the week which has made email very difficult. We have a team of 6 here this week and one family for I600 paperwork. Hosting a team has been very different than hosting a family. The hardest part by far is the illness. We don't know what is going around our house but Todd was sick last weekend, then 3 members of the team were sick on Wednesday, and one team member and Margie on Thursday. Everyone is still taking it slow and easy.

We think we have been doing our job well. We have both been reminded in several different ways over the course of the past week that we are serving God and not others. Sure we may be fixing toilets, helping sick people, hand washing a ton of dishes but we are not really doing this for the orphanage or the people visiting the orphanage. We are doing this for God. Every dish we wash, every toilet we replace we are doing it for our Lord! Boy, doesn't that change our perspective. Everything becomes a joy.

Some interesting things we have seen this week
* Margie saw a woman giving birth on the side of the road.
* We came home from church on Sunday to a mom and preemie waiting in the front porch. The baby weighs only 2lbs 1 oz. They are estimating she is about 3 months premature. We have never seen such a small baby.
* We went to Suzette's Boutique (a hole in the wall around the corner where we bought Tampico's)
* The kids got to experience The Baptist Mission and street shopping.

I think we are all getting a little homesick. The kids can't wait to see the dog and sleep in their bed.

God has been faithful to us through adjustments, illness, exhaustion, and times of discouragement and joy. We have a new appreciation for what our missionaries go through on a daily basis. A month trip is very different than a two week trip.

Thank you for your continued prayers. We are almost three weeks down.
